    Cutting advice please!

Hey guys, I'm ready to cut for a 12 week period

    My stats are:
    5 10"
    230lbs (105kg)
    20% BF
    Male
    Endomorph

    I'm aiming for 2100 calories a day, 131g Carbs, 263g Protein, 58g Fat
I'm looking to loose been 2-3lbs (1+ KGS) a week
I am not including my 4x resistance workouts a week, and walking 3x a week in the calorie totals, so i guess some days my expenditure will be less than 2100

Anyone have any advice for me?
I'd like to shed about 15-20kg in the 12 week period because I go overseas

    Cheers

Sounds like a good plan, do you know your TDEE ? Sounds like some poverty macros to me haha, I'm 160lb and that'd be a 500 calorie deficit for me.

Really? I just did the Mifflin-St Jeor formula and got 2478 for my TDEE (with little-no exercise as one of the inputs)

Do you think its ok for me to go lower than 2000 calories? Seems a bit catabolic for someone my size (230lbs), and won't the protein drop too much? Or should I drop some carbs to get to 2000?

    Cheers

What I mean is I'd think you'd need to eat more than that depending on the deficit you want. Have you eaten at you maintenance to see if that's your legit maintenance?

No I haven't but I would prefer to jump straight into it and work it out later
I'd like to be at at least a 500 deficit, and then not factor in the activity levels if that makes sense

Yeah I getcha, well the first week or two you should get some fluctuation of glycose and water because of lowering your carbs, so the first week or two aren't very accurate measures of telling if the deficit is right, but after that, at a 500 deficit you should lose a pound a week. If your losing more than that, you'll know you'r deficit is too big. If your losing less than a pound a week, increase your deficit by 100-200 calories a week.
