Ok so finally got my BF% and stats. Here's where i'm currently at.
- Height: 6'2"
- Weight: 301lb
- BF: 33.4%
- BMI: 38.7
- BMR: 2675kcal
- Fat Mass: 100.6lb
I saw in another sticky that I should wait till I'm at 16% body fat. What I'm wanting to do is bulk while cutting fat. Before i started reading here I had the intentions of using steroids to help me burn the fat quicker, but it doesn't seem to be the case. So now i'm planning to wait until i'm down to 20% before i start my first cycle. I've used many different online calculators that have given me a very wide range of results for what i should be doing for my intake. One said i should be taking 580g of protein a day. That seems like a hell of a lot especially when i'm trying to cut fat. I'm doing compound workouts:
- Day 1: Back and Biceps
- Day 3: Chest and Triceps
- Day 5 shoulders, Traps, and Legs
- Day 7: Repeat
I've also been doing about 30 minutes on the elliptical machine after my workouts with some crunches at the end. If anyone could shed some light on what i should be taking for protein and calories i'd really appreicate it. I'm trying to stick to the ratio: 50% protein, 40% carbs, 10% fat. Thanks
