My leg is starting to get infected (bad injection) pinned it thursday and now their is redness and im 100 % positive its gonna spread. Have some left over keflex and sulf. 16 pills of keflex 500 mgs each ... says take 4 a day though ... I was thinking dividing it into 8 days (2 pills a day) and 17 sulf pills says take 2 a day. Do I have enough to battle of the injection because I dont have insurance anymore so im screwed.

Follow the directions on the bottle. Go to the doctor and get more. If you dont get rid of the infection 100% it can become more resistant to antibiotics. Did you know you can get antibiotics at most any pet/fish store or online for fish? It's exactly the same stuff, same manufacture and pennies on the dollar.

Are you sure it's an infection? Is it warm/hot to the touch? Are you running a low grade fever?

Last time I only used half the bottle before it went away. I cant afford another hospital bill already paying off the last one. If you can PM the website and name if thats not against board rules

Google, there are 100s of sites that sell fish antibiotics. It really is not good to take only half because of what I said before. Only the symptoms are gone but the infection can come back stronger or the next time you get another one it may be more resistant. Next time take them all as prescribed as on the bottle you already have.

In the future, don't run another cycle until you have this taken care of. Your health is more important that some muscle and you shouldn't ever consider running more gear until you can actually "afford" it (meaning the rest of your expenses are in order).

As far as this goes, give it a week or two, but keep track of if it's getting more swollen, hot to the touch, you're getting a fever and so on.

Hey guys so I bought more keflex should be here in 2 days .... leg is about the same still ... least it didnt get worst. Im hoping by tomorrow swelling starts going down. This keflex is making my stomach upset and hurting my gains. Can't eat anything.

A lot of antibiotics can do that and even cause bad constipation so have some prune juice on hand. lol

Try eating some Greek yogurt with it, that should help the stomach.

Been doing the greek yogurt its working pretty good but still cant eat nearly as much as I should. Do you think the antibiotic is working? I just hope I didnt build a resistance to it.

Only way to tell is give it time. It's not a 1 day process. Usually at least 7 days.

Little update. The redness moved more to the left of my thigh. But the pain in my leg is nearly all gone. Swelling went down a bit. I just dont know why the redness hasnt gone down at all. Is it healing ?
