    First Cycle - A Few Questions

    Hey guys -


    I'm starting my first cycle tomorrow and yes despite my questions please don't comment with "OP's stupid and didn't do his research", I've done a lot, I'm just looking for another opinion and more info.

    Myself: 21 yo. 5"10, 162lbs. Probably around 8-10% BF.

    Here's the deal.

    Weeks 1-4:

    Test C 500mg @ once a week.

    D bol @ 25mg/day

    Weeks 4-12:

    Test C 500mg @ once a week still

    D bol @ 50mg/day


    What are your thoughts on this? I've heard from others its more benefitial to do test twice a week. If that's the case, what MG?

    Diet ... I know I should post this in the nutrition board but might as well put it all into one.

    How many calories a day? I am a hardgainer, currently eating around 2500 calories a day. Should I increase that?

    Second to last - Been reading a lot around this forum and saw that a lot of people have low test levels a few years after cycling. Does that happen to everyone? I am under the assumption...and from the research I've done that if you cycle properly with test your test levels will stay just fine. Any insight?

    Lastly - Pinning......I'm a little nervous as I've never pinned myself before. Not really scared, just a little nervous. Is it painful? I've read the threads about pinning safely and the best ways to do it and I'm pretty confident, just a little nervous about pain. Can anyone reassure me? Lol.

    Anything else I should know? I've done a lot of research, just looking for last minute opinions/suggestions.

    I'll post a thread with progress pics as soon as I start!

    You're not ready man if you're struggling to eat 2500 you're not going to be able to eat to maintain the tissue while your appetite is shot and your motivation is down.

    You haven't done enough research which is obvious from the post, test e needs to be 2x a week to maintain stable levels in the blood and 12 weeks of dbol is absolutely insane and extremely damaging on the liver.

    Do what you want but it's either going to be a letdown or you're going to keep using instead of doing PCT which will almost guarantee needing TRT later in life.

    I can push 3000 a day.

    And - I made a mistake in my original post just noticed, thank you for poitning it out.

    It will be test C, not test E.


    As for your post in general..I've heard it all before. "You're too young"...I know I'm young, and I know this may screw me over in the future, that's why I'm here. I'm looking for help with the best cycle to do that's the safest at my age and my weight.
    No offence at all, thank you for your post and being honest.

    As for 12 weeks being too long...I actually got this from the "Newbie Cycles" thread posted somewhere on this forum. Have no clue how to link it to this page but it's pinned at the top of one of the sub forums.

    2500kcal calling yourself hard gainer?? If you would be hitting 4000-5000 and not gaining weight that would mean you are!

    Running an oral 12weeks is pointless and very dangerous! Get some more reading after nutrition section.

    Like I said in the previous post - I found this cycle on the Newbie Cycles thread.

    What;s your suggestion?

    Dbol for 6 weeks and test C for 12?

    You have no foundation, your too young and you don't know how to eat properly and without doubt know how to train correctly. You may think you do but you don't IMHO. Stay clear of steroids at your age its not worth the shut down and learn how to gain size and muscle via your training and diet. I know I am wasting my time in writing this I can tell but I thought I'd try.

    I'll be honest Marcus, you are lol.

    But, that's not me saying I'll take your opinion and throw it out the window.

    You're all right with saying I'm too young and will suffer in the future if I do decide to go through with this but like I said before, I'm not posting this to get "Dude you're an idiot you're way too young. Don't do it." Because I already know that part.

    I'm posting this to get, hopefully, something along the lines of..."You're stupid, but because you're going to do it anyways, here's the safest way to."

    There isn't a safe way you don't know how shutting down your hpta is going to effect you. I'll leave your thread I can see you don't want my advice.

    It's not that I don't want your advice. Like I said earlier, I'm not completely disregarding your opinion, I'm just looking for others at the same time.

    Well goodluck then, i'd certainly suggest reading some more before you start if all you've got is 'test for 12 and dbol for 6'. There's a little more to it than that. Read around and you'll learn how to do it as safely as possible, which is not safe at all at your age/size/experience regardless of how well the cycle is run.

    I'm in the same boat, i'm 20 and want/ed to cycle so i came here with a cycle similar to yours, missing some vital pieces and was thankfully talked out of it by some older members, now i've done enough reading and research to realize that waiting is certainly the best option, after all i do plan on lifting for many years to come so what's the rush.

    I would 100% listen to what's infront of you. I starting cycling at 20 y.o and now I wished I held off. 26 now and have low testosterone. Off cycle I feel like shit for a good 6 months before I get on again. I was told all this advise to, but didn't listen. Stupid mistake on my part. And I lost all my gains each time aswell until 4 years later when I new what diet really meaned.

    You can use all the gear you want. You will/may gain some size but you wont maintain and of it because your diet needs to be worked out first and on track, not during cycle but before, during and after. There is a simple saying and maybe you can follow this line of thinking. If you want to weigh 190 lbs you have to eat like a person who weights 190 lbs. Most of the size/gains you will get from gear will be water weight but what muslce you do gain you will loose quickly.

    I still remember LOL at those guys in school or the gym who would blow up quickly then be skinny again in a few months. I'm only 5' 8" and have not weighted 165 since I was about 17, maybe 18. I though I ate a lot and my diet was good. In reality it sucked and I WISH I had resources like this place back then and learned about diet.

    You will do what you will do but as said, there is not right or safe way to do it at your stage of life due to age, weight and experience. It's always easy to ignore people who are telling you what you want to hear. There are only a few who are smart enough to learn from others mistakes and not have to repeat them. Those are the few who will go on to become elite as long as life or fate does not also throw them a curve ball like it does 99% of the time.

    One of the reasons people are saying you are also not ready is your lack of knowledge about aas.
    Why do you think using Test C instead of E will make a difference?
    I dont think you read any sticky here that recommended using dbol for 12 week and the one where it does mention using it for the first 4 weeks to kick start is WAY outdated and been revised. I'm sure if you look hard enough and long enough you can find most anything you but weeding between what is good and bad should be as simple as listening and learning from the vets.

    Of course as anything in life it's up to you on what you decide to get out of it and do with the information available.
