    Protein and Macros

So my Macros are 225g protein, 250 carbs on workout days and 175g on off days, fat 50g. I weigh 225 and am on a cut. So 1 gram of protein is where I'm at per pound. I've been told I need to increase to 1.5 per pound and that seems to be the general consensus. I'm at about 2,300 calories per day. In order for me to increase my protein to 1.5 Ide have to adjust fats and carbs. I'm thinking 330g protein, 150 carbs, 40 fats. The carbs that low scare me. Should I decrease fat to increase carbs? Any suggestions?

No need to change anything, 1g per lb is plenty in any case. However protein is very satiating so If it helps you stick to dieting go ahead.

Cals sound super low for your weight ,ate, what's your bodyfat?

I'd up your protein to 1.5g per lean lb of bodyweight. Unless you are on cycle, then I might go as high as 2g per .lb of lean body weight.

Don't drop your fats though, 50g is the minimum you should be looking at.

How about instead of adding protein you add digestive enzymes to help you utilize and digest the protein you are taking in more efficiently...thats what i have been doing lately with great success...

Have a few more questions if some would be as kind to inform me.

Weighing chicken raw or cooked? I've been weighing cooked and didn't know if it makes that big of a difference.

Sweet Potatoes. Just implemented these into my diet. Yes I'm late, just acquired a taste for them again. I weigh them uncooked. Are you supposed to eat the skin? Do you peel them before you weigh. Or eat the skin. What's your technique? Thanks

Thanks. One more thing! Weighing the chicken uncooked. I like to cook a few pounds at a time to last a few days. How do you portion it out? Certainly you don't cook chicken every day at a certain amount.

Weigh it as a whole before you cook it. Say you are cooking 10 portions. Then weigh it after cooking and divide it into 10 equal portions from the cooked weight.
