    A buddy's latest bloodwork

He has been dialed in at 150 mg test cyp a a week no ai for the last yeat at 1100 total and mid 20's free. His doc doesn't make him take bloods but I did. His doc took him off thyroid meds 9 months ago because he said he doesn't need it. Should I force him to find a new doc or am i over reacting?[ BTW one week from last test shot 150 mg test cyp. His doc is a d/a...find one who knows what the hell they're doing. I would dial back the test dose and get on an AI pronto.

Absolutely that was the first thing I told him. My real concern was his thyroid numbers. I'm curious if the thyroid could be causing his low test. His numbers were 300 total test 9 free and his thyroid was just a little low when he went on current protocol now his thyroid looks really messed up. That's why I was I was wondering if a endo would be a good idea, or at least another doc up on hormones.

Yes, it will impact his testosterone levels. With hyper it mostly via elevated shbg regulation. Right now with such low TSH and T4 the problem lies either with his thyroid itself or with his pituitary. Hard to tell.

When it comes to his test levels I agree with Crawfish.

He needs a better doc. The doc probably took him off thyroxine because he saw the TSH was suppressed, and he thought that he didn't need it, or needed far less (which is not awful thinking at the beginning, because is someone is taking T4 and the TSH is totally suppressed it might be too high a dose). But he should have checked bloods again, because with the thyroid hormone levels, the low TSH is due to either hypothalamic dysfunction or pituitary dysfunction and he should be looking into it. Can't tell at this point whether his thyroid gland is okay. But something is wrong somewhere else in the signaling to the thyroid.
