    Hemoglobin lab work

34 year old male with 17 years training naturally. On fourth week of T at 300/week. Hemoglobin came in at 17.0 (12.6-17.6) pre cycle. Gave blood after 6th shot and hemoglobin was measured at 18.2. Will the hemoglobin continue to elevate throughout the entire 12 weeks I had planned? Or will it reach a saturation point and taper off? I'm getting a full blood work panel done this week and will post here along with pre bloods

Blood counts go up, not down (when not treated) while on cycle.

Are there any ways to treat it other than giving blood? I gave blood at the 3 week mark and that's when it came back at 18.2. I was nearly disqualified (18.3 is cutoff). Will it continue to rise or reach a saturation point? I could lower the T dose. However, anything below 250 I would just as soon stay natty

No. The only way to reduce red cell counts is to remove them from your body. It will continue to rise. rapidity would vary by individual.

Losing blood is the only real solution. Being as hydrated as possible will technically lower your hemoglobin (making you less likely to be turned away from donating, but only because your blood will be well diluted (as hydration affects plasma volume).

That certainly does not bode well for me if I'm already at 18.2 after 3 weeks. I gave blood, but I understand it regenerates.

Is having an 18.2 hemo reading at the 3 week mark alarming to you guys? How much could it have gone down after giving blood?

Did my mid cycle bloods last week (8th week test cyp 260 mgs/wk)

    RBC 5.81 HIGH
    Hemoglobin 17.3
    Hematocrit 51.7 HIGH
    Testosterone, serum >1500 HIGH (347-1197)
    Testosterone, free >73.95 (5.00-21.00) HIGH
    Estradiol. Sensitive 28.9 (8.0-35)
    TSH 1.180

I started the first 3 weeks at 300 mgs but bumped it down to 260 when my hemoglobin shot up to 18.2 from a baseline of 17.0. I found out when I went to give blood after my fifth shot. But I think everything looks pretty decent and I am having an amazing recomp and crushing plateaus and PRs in wendler's 5/3/1 (I've been training 5/3/1 for over a year) I plan to give blood again soon.

Precycle bloods had my TT at 498, hemoglobin 17.0, hematocrit 49.0, RBC 5.72

I noticed you have an option when giving blood. There's the whole blood donation and a double red blood cell donation. Is one better than the other when trying to lower blood counts from AAS?

The double red blood cell donation is better and will decrease your Hemoglobin more. I need to talk my doctor into giving me a RX for therapeutic donation because mine has been over 18 the last 2 times, over 3+ months.

Do you run EQ or anadrol? I'm sure you know they wreck havoc on bloods more so than say just test.

I want to add an oral finisher to my cycle. I'm going to bump the test up to 300 mgs but want something to end the cycle with authority. I don't have a source, as all my gear and ancillaries are prescribed by a TRT clinic (I'm not on TRT though). Would you suggest I steer clear of so called designer steroids like dymethazine and trenavar? I know they're banned, but some sites in the UK still sell them

Weird that they have a cutoff on the high end. Where I donate they go by the Red Cross guidelines of a minimum level of12.5g/dL. I've done several double RBC donations with hemoglobin values above 18.5
I naturally tend to have high hematocrit/hemoglobin values and have to stay on top of it via donations or I self-phlebotomize.

Not recently so they have nothing to do with my blood count, just HRT.

I've heard of guys having elevated blood counts even on TRT. I plan to finish up the 12 weeks, PCT and then train natty until about January or so and run the test again maybe a bit higher and perhaps low dose of HGH. What is your TRT dose?

You may want to look for a Red Cross donation center. Here is a thread with a member that just donated with a hemoglobin value of 19.7. Check post 5 of the thread below.
