Not sure if this is the right section
Ive never measured my arms, do you measure the widest point, do you measure when relaxed? Tensed? After training with pump? On cycle or off cycle?
Im guessing people do it whilst on cycle and after training arms

I was told that your arms should be measured with your arms in the position that they are in your avatar, relaxed and before training and at the widest point. I was told to measure without flexing because if you where to flex your arms or measure them pumped they may very in size from day to day due to numerous factors. Seeing that most people measure there arms for ego reasons and not to insure perfect proportions I suppose there would be nothing wrong with measuring your arms flexed and pumped.
Flexed, pumped and on cycle is probably most common. Just wondered what the 'fairest' way was (that probably nobody does lol)
Yeah, the way I was told by a national level NPC competitor when I was getting ready for a natural show. He always tries to get his body in per-portion with the "Greek deal proportions" which of course never win shows due to the freak of natures with GH guts that are winning today's shows.
Example: I'm 5'7 so I would want to have 16.28 inch arms
Im 5.8
Also like to be in proportion, hate any muclle group being bigger or smaller
Going to measure my arms on rest day and after training see the measurememts and differences
Measure them flexed b4 any type of training - and for shits and giggles do it after you work arms to see the difference between pumped and non pumped! At the thickest point around the arm
That's what I do lol(obviously your non pumped arms would be your real #)
Friend measured my arms 16.2"
This was tensed on rest day
I would go along with the flexed measurement. After all to me you are trying to increase the size and shape of the flexed muscle, not simply have large arms?
