homemade protein bars experience
i am looking at easy recipes to finally make bars.
whey protein
quaker oats - minute oats
natural pb
And maybe some toppings like choc chips or whatever if needed
Do I need to really use milk or can i use water? I didnt really want to add more calories and buy milk since I already eat cheese lol.
Help. Do I need to add honey really to bind?
i need to get a 9x9 pan. would work better for dividing and spreading.
what do i use to store the bars? Do I leave in the fridge to last the week? 1 for each morning?
do i even need wax paper? All I did was cover with clear plastic wrap.
Yes keep chilled, plastic wrap will stick like a mofo (wax paper would be better), wrap and store like that or in a container if you prefer.
what other toppings or ingredients can i mix in?
I tried my first bar this morning and tasted so good. Is it really bad to mix in oreo cookies into bars to eat every morning? What about chocolate chips or that is just adding in more pointless calories.
