I took a health screening at work the other day, the results came back and I'm obese. All they did was weigh me take my height then measured my waist. Apparently being 5'7" and 201 lbs is obese. But my waist is within normal range. Haha those things are such BS.

Yup.......they live and die by those stupid charts which I feel unless you have the build of a marathon runner who doesn't eat, then they call you obese. Why not measure your bodyfat and let that truly dictate what you are?Originally Posted by yardbirdaj

I hear ya, I did a life insurance medical application and was 205lbs at 6'1" well under 15%BF but not quite 10% (I was lean and vascular as f**k).
Anyway, the girl told me i would still Be classed overweight therefore pay a higher premium because their ideal weight for my height was 185lbs. Didn't matter to them that I was in the gym, apparently I too am considered obese.
Please tell me how the **** that works lol.
This was a face - face interview / application. She's could clearly see I was not overweight.
