    Eat some meat...problem solved.
I try and be considerate of other peoples feeling and such but I just don't get this Vegan/vegetarian trend. Especially for those who are trying to be a bodybuilder.
In my opinion its just a little silly. God put everything on this earth for our consumption and use for food and resources and yet people want to "think outside the box" and come up with alternate plans of existence contrary to the way humans have been existing for thousands of years.
Think of all the inconveniences and expenses involved with trying to avoid meat. Trying to find something to provide the proper protein that our bodies need...I look at your meal plan and all I see is carb loaded fart food. I get it that they are "protein sources"
But look what you are eating in an attempt to gain protein in your diet.
I could eat 12 oz of chicken and probably have more protein than your entire days meal plan.
Just saying... It's like trying to dig a swimming pool with a tablespoon...yes you can do it...but it will be so much more difficult and time consuming than using a backhoe.
I know there are religions that have meat restrictions and of course there are medical reasons where red meat is restricted...but I just can't wrap my head around anyone following a vegan/vegetarian diet on your own free will.

Eat meat for the 12 weeks of your cycle..... but then afterward volunteer at an animal shelter for 12 weeks....... it cancels out

I agree with sicko on this. If God didnt intend me to eat meat he would have put my eyes on the side of my head instead of the front.
He made me man, I gots me a penis for genitals No matter how pathetic it is, I can tell it ain't a vagina.
I will put my penis into vagina, thats how kids are made, supposedly what genitals are for...
I'm good at that part too! Too good! Got a lotta kids.

But, I can see how some folks like vegetables a lot and want to put their pp into buttholes and adopt kids.
But it doesnt change what God intended.

If you didnt laugh you arent alive.

Whats your reason for not eating meat?

You'll have to load up on lentils, beans and tofu for this to have a chance at working. Adding nuts and nut butter would be ideal as well. I don't see any mention of protein powder? There are plenty of lactose free, vegetarian friendly powders available on the market... at least in Canada there are anyway.

Im not sure whats up with everyone trying to get you to meat here. Of course it would be ideal to put on mass during a cycle but theres plenty of vegan/vegetarian bodybuilders who have done well without meat. The problem is you'll have to stay very on plan as there aren't too many high protein foods you can eat and you'll have to hope that these foods don't mess with your stomach.

You started your cycle a bit early here. You're only 18 and at 140 lbs. You don't even know if this diet will work with your cycle. Starting a cycle and asking questions afterwards is setting yourself up for failure and its even worse at your age.

    MY diet right now:

    140 lbs, 5'45

    1/2 cup hemp seeds
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1 cup whole milk

    5 oz rice
First, I'd like to say I don't agree with what half the people said on here. It's you choice for what ever reason and just make sure you do it right and stay healthy

    Whey:
Since you are a lacto-vegetarian this is indispensable in your diet for getting the necessary protein intake. You can do 2 servings a day, at 25 grams a serving and that's 1/3 of your total protein intake right there.

    Lentils, beans, all legumes really:
They are great and should be a staple for you. Try to add them at most meals. A 1/2 cup ever few hours can really add up.

    Vegetables:
YOURE A LACTO-VEGETARIAN, EAT MORE VEGETABLES. But, seriously they are nutrient dense and great for you. What the starchy ones, the carbs can and do add up quick. Spinach is great and carrots are as well. And you have quinoa in you diet which is great just add more.

    Greek yogurt:
Better protein to carb ratio that regular yogurt. Plain non-fat one can be a bit sour to most. I usually just put a little honey or fruit to make it better. Also, good in shakes.

    Fruit:
Same reason for vegetables, nutrient dense. Just watch for sugars again.

    Nuts, nut butters:
Good source of fats. They can be eaten as snacks or part of a meal or whatever.

    Meat substitutes(tofu, seitan, tempeh, etc):
They are good for, as you could have guessed, substituting meat. Just watch it on these. They can be loaded with salts as they are typically brined.

I know the struggle of being a vegetarian, lacto-ovo here. You just have to look around and think outside of the box. Diversity in a diet is the key to 1. Getting all the nutrients you need and
    2. Being able to stick to it

I know you're joking about part of your reply OB but I'd like to respectfully disagree. I mean eyes in the front are more indicative of a pack/co-dependent animal. Narrowed our field of view and now rely more on others around us to watch our six. I mean with your reasoning gorillas should be prime example of carnivores and sharks should be out there grazing on seaweed.

It's just a different way of doing things bud. It's not for everyone. Just like cycling and bodybuilding isn't for everyone. Majority of people wouldn't understand why you'd put your body through such physical and mental torment. The days before a show where you're severely restricted on calories just trying to get a bit more defined. But you do it because it's what you like and have chosen to pursue in your life. Same here, just with foodstuff.
