From when I was there which was 2 years ago.
The tick tock diner opposite MSG was good for breakfast. Korean food is good too and seriously good value if you like that style of food.
Theres another diner opposite grand central station we ate in too which was very good bit pricey tho. But it is NYC not really anywhere is cheap.
