I know exactly the reason okay here it is.
When you take steroids it puts strain on the heart, maybe even enlarging it slightly.
When you have local anaesthetic it similarly puts strain/pressure on the heart. Combining the two together potentially can be lethal and cause heart attacks and strokes.
Thats why ideally you should get your dentist work done with space either side of your cycle.
Anasthetic is harsh on your heart.

Mixed answer.
May or may not be the answer for I am not a doctor. But I have learned from past experiences.
I know it’s not just a random question. It’s because certain foods, liquids and substances have different affects on the body. In addition a combination of them can even further the affect. Quite similar to side affects listed on drugs. It also ties into something going wrong. In in those cases you’re probably not coherent answer any questions of that or any nature.
For example: When I went to get my eyebrow pierced he had asked me if I had alcohol in witch I did. But thinking it would affect my ability for getting the piercing I said “no”. After poking the hole and putting it the jewelry I was bleeding more than normal. He again asked if I had done said things. And I confessed to a few shots of Jack. He said the reason he asked was not because he gave a $hit but because those thin the blood and will make you bleed more. And he could’ve better prepared. I do have another example and would definitely confirm my answer but I’m going going to share at this point.

It has nothing to do with the effects of AAS on the heart. Its about the self injections of AAS. ie the injections done by a non-medical person which are assumed to be non-sterile, which increase the chances of endocarditis/infection. The reason the dentist needs to know this is to know if the dentist needs to give prophylatic antibiotics for a dental procedure.
Same reason for giving blood, if u have self injected AAS and answer truthfully on a questionaire and it was not done by a medical professional, its assumed to not be done correctly which increases the infection rate and the chance that u have a sub-acute infection in ur blood which will make the blood u donate unusable and possibly danagerous.
Its a liability thing.

The moment you admit, now anything that happens was AAS. In the US this can make it back to insurance and now you are a high risk which means $$$$$$.

In Italy one time admission you took aas is enough to ban someone from donating blood for life.
