Unsure about delt injection

Hey everyone.. Injected 1.5 into my delt Monday. Ive used this gear already. Monday evening it was uncomfortable which I expected. Tuesday evening I noticed my bicep was a little red and swollen and today is about the same. Taking Tylenol, last night I took a Doxy just in case and will for a couple days. Right delt was sore when I shot it but I didnt get the redness and swelling. Been on for several years and not had this, possible bad shot? Any thoughts?

Is it warm to the touch? Did you clean the delt and vial with an alcohol wipe before injecting? Sounds to me like you just might have moved the needle around a little more than usual and irritated the area. Ive had some funky shit like that happen to me and it cleared up after a few days.

You got an injection cyst It's like localized infection. It happens sometimes. Hang in there, it'll get better.

I do front all the time but with a slin pin. No issues.

I definitely get alittle more Pip from hitting more in the front then side delt.

Yep cleaned everything before I injected.. I'm really hoping it does. Never had this in 13 years of use and it's freaking me out some lol

Also 1.5” is a tad long for a delt shot. You can go anywhere from 1/2-1”
The glutes is a different story

Sorry I should have said it was 1.5cc.. I used a 25g 1inch though

1” is def on the upper most end for pin length for delts. Personally, I use 5/8”, 25g for delts. In fact, just pinned with that set up about 15 min ago, 1mL.

Just an update. The swelling and redness has cleared up a good bit. Actual site is still pretty sore but I'm good with that. The lump that formed on my inner bicep really freaked me out that time. I did take some Doxy just to be safe so who knows how that one could have gone. And I shot in my leg for my next one lol.. Appreciate all the feedback.

Keep some clindamyacin on hand better for bad shot swell ups than doxy
