    Aspirating

Apologies for my ignorance- I figured it's better to ask a stupid question than to make a stupid mistake.

If you aspirate the needle before you inject, how is it possible to draw anything but blood, considering there is a needle stuck in your tissue? And if there's no blood, wouldn't you be drawing air into the syringe, and isn't that potentially dangerous?

If you have the needle in the muscle when you aspirate, you will just draw a vacuum in the syringe, no air will get in.

If in a blood vessel you will notice it very quickly when you try to aspirate.

Always aspirate, don't need much just a small pull.

No question is a bad question man. It’s how we all learn. It’s what you do with the information that dictates weather you are ignorant or not Hah

"Stupid" questions are a million times better than stupid mistakes.

Random question of my own: What's it feel like when you aspirate? I always imagined it would be more painful than the injection itself for some reason

You dont feel anything, unless you move the the syringe and the needle inside you cuts some tissue
