But first, this is likely going to be one of the most off-the-wall questions ever asked here but please bear with me. I personally am on medically prescribed Test, Deca & HCG. It's been life changing for me. The Deca in particular has done wonders for my joints & quality of life & I understand the importance of using Test along with it for overall health.
But it's not me I'm asking for. It's my best friend: my DOG. Rocky is an old boy now. Large mixed breed & he's starting to exhibit hip pain & muscle weakness. He's lived well past his life expectancy & at this point it's all about quality of life, not life extension. I really want to get him some joint discomfort relief. I've shared my personal experience with Deca with my vet & have run the idea of prescribing him Deca by him & he's not necessarily opposed to it, just doesn't know anything about it. Rocky IS NOT NEUTERED (because I believe in the importance of Testosterone for male health) but at this point in his life I really doubt he's making much testosterone anyway. Would there be any harm in him running Deca only to help with joint pain & reverse muscle wasting?
BTW I think I've got all the other bases covered. He's on glucosamine, chondroiten, MSM, fish oil, hyalauronic acid, turmeric & CBD oil as well as weekly injections of Chondroprotec.
Like I said this is strictly a quality of life question at this point & any advise is appreciated.
