unpopular reasoning - human genetic diversity

Chimps and humans share 98.7% of their genetics.

If humans and chimps share 98.7% of their genes and drug studies on chimps are valid because they are enough like us, wouldn't the range of human response be so tight as to make it hard to ever say "EVERYBODY REACTS DIFFERENT?"

Mitigating factors:
We do react a little differently but this is not at all common, perhaps around three standard deviations, ~95%. This also happens to be the point in medicine and psychology where we look at real diversity among humans...5% are antisocial, or schizo, and or ADHD (me) for example (sorry, I'm familiar with psych studies and theory not medicine).

However, the range of different reaction is small. For instance, Ritalin made me stimulated to the point of nervousness but helped my brother just pay attention. It basically did the same thing in each of us but had different outcomes. Subjectively, this might feel big but, it's more a matter of perception. ...The major difference would be the power of our minds, hence the 30ish percent success rate of placebos. I haven't heard of sugar pills making chimps healthy before.

My point:
We are all different, not much. The differences are more similar than the range of perceived differences.

Yup^ painted in broad strokes we're much alike, with some subtleties that characterizes each (mostly related to culture and personal experiences).

It's all about meeting personal needs. I like a theory in psychology which depicted those needs on hierarchical levels within a pyramid:

Basically every person has the desire to move up and make something of himself/herself. Not all manage to do it. Some can't gather themselves to work, some work but have external factors in their detriment (natural disasters etc), some work and have the external factors working in their favour as well. The letter get their needs met high up to self-actualization.

A fight starts when an individual blocks another's path to actualizing needs. That's where judges and laws are needed, to tell each what each is owed.

Talking of pyramids, look at those structures made by people who probably never knew of each other's existence:

Supposedly you'd take those chimps on a planet similar to ours, in that they have water, air, other life-sustaining conditions, I'd be willing to bet (just I don't have a couple million years) they'd start raising communities (appointing leaders), designing hunting tools, getting a sense of divinity, making even better hunting tools, giving other appointments (war chief, priest/shaman, judge).. and at some point even want to build buildings that are not reserved for living, but rather for higher pursues, worshipping, performing rituals for good life conditions, honouring the deceased (temples). Which could also be pyramidical, because the triangle is the basic shape that has the most stability and it would come naturally to think of it when considering the huge weight of the structure.

My point:
We are all different, not much. The differences are more similar than the range of perceived differences.

on a side note -- a Banana shares 60% DNA with humans . and we look nothing like a Banana.. the differences between 98% and 100% is actually a huge difference.

we are all unique individuals , but apart from DNA relating to chimps or even bananas what we have in common that no DNA test can ever comprehend , is the image of God upon us as humanity and individuals

in the book of Enoch , an ancient book .. the idea is that Angels/Watchers or Spirits came down and gave us all , ie., all cultures, gifts of technology, knowledge, tools etc.. and thats why many different cultures all have very similar religions, gods, hunting tools, technology, etc.. without that culture having ever interacted with the other culture.

the same spirits that came down and spoke to the native Indians, or the vikings, or the muslims, etc.. are all the same spirits speaking to them of the same things , its just each culture has a different way of expressing the things the Spirits taught them.

thats because the Spirits talk to the sons of God . those created in his image .. the Spirits do not waste time talking to chimps.
so I do not think chimps would evolve into a society and technology across the board like the Sons of Adam have.
instead chimps have been around for millions of years and yet are still eating their own poop.

its a spiritual matter . thats just my opinion

I was baptised orthodox a few months after birth and I was taught its beliefs in school. However I had personal experiences that made me deviate from it. What I named spirit before I call now energy and all that energy gathered I call god. And matter is energy also, just condensed to a slow vibration. I think visions come from tapping into higher consciousness, which is a part of the human mind. To me, saying they come from the brain, or the spirit is the same. I hold that universe=god.

I read at some point a parable with an elephant as a metaphor for God. It told that individual truth is well, true, but it is not the ultimate truth. People describe it through the prism of their experiences:

I'm not too different then you my friend.. the words you used in bold are the words I use all the time to explain "God" to family and friends.

instead of "vibration" I use the word "frequency" though.

we are all spiritual beings simply having a momentary experience on this frequency of existence on earth .. but there are many "frequencies" or vibrations , and this is just one small part of the whole thing.

when you turn the radio on to a certain "frequency" and you hear the voice of the radio man talking, can you open up your radio and find that radio man ? no... he is not in the radio box , its simply a frequency or vibration. he does not live in the box itself.
just like God does not live in a temple, a church, or a communion cup.

visons-- they come from God when the sun shines on our face . when we sleep or we feel the cool breeze

Prism - the prism of light that come are only 5% of the universe itself.. its simply the things you can see, the colors, through that one prism , but 95% of the universe is "gray matter" and things that cannot be seen with the human eye.
this is a scientific or physics reality , and not just something thought by religions themselves . it can be rationalized in the real world.


anyhow, the words you used in that post are words I use all the time to explain things .


on a side note - I'm not against global governments per se . I just know that the best governor is simply your heart and doing whats right and we all will be governed not by a dictator or president, but a clear conscience and a good heart.

we no longer need a "beast" system to govern us once our hearts are pure.. and thats every nation or people etc.
