    Am I taking too much HCG?

    30M, just started HCG for low-T (258ng/dl). Doc has me on HCG only at 2400iu per week. This seems like a lot compared to the protocols I've read on here.

    Thoughts? Risks?

    Are you on testosterone and HCG or does your HRT consist of HCG monotherapy?

    I've got zero experience with HCG monotherapy, but just at a glance there's a couple of studies in the 1500-2000iu range for monotherapy.
    There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

    Wish I could have been more help, but I'm not going to BS you. I know very little about HCG monotherapy.

    Please share your lab values when you get them.

    Maybe the doc is trying to jump start the testes with a higher dose. Did you determine if it’s primary or secondary hypogonadism?
