I didn't see the whole clip of the incident preceding the deadly shooting (in the back of the head we are being told at this point, if true, gonna be a bit difficult to defend that one, perhaps), so maybe you guys can fill in some of the blanks here...

But the first thing that came to my mind was, why don't these people follow instructions...? Again, I don't care what color the resisting individual is; you have to obey the officer's instructions/commands if you want to see the sun rise tomorrow morning. Plain and simple.

And when a white guy gets capped by the cops, all the white people think is, "well, he must have done something, hey, I gotta get back to work and life...". Now, hopefully the States is too busy try to struggle with the current global crisis, to pay too much mind to this event. We will see...

Yeah, if self-preservation mattered to the individual that got suicided by the cops, he'd do what the cop told him to do. Even if you don't like cops, in that situation they hold the cards. It'd be better to just do what they say and live to fight another day.

I’m with you a 1000%. My BP goes nuts when I read about this type of bs in the morning paper. Why in the world anyone would still want to be a cop in this current climate is beyond me. All praise to them and our military personnel.

I get the dude should have listened, but there’s no reason to shoot a man in the back of the head when you’re on top of him and he’s face down on the ground. The fact of the matter is, though, that in certain communities these cops have to deal with situations like these that could turn dangerous for the cop so often that it just takes the wrong situation. It’s not like this happens everyday. We have 340 million people. That’s a ton of chances for things like this to happen. The fact that it only happens once in a blue moon is indicative that things aren’t as bad as they would have us believe. I agree that you don’t walk away from a cop or try to pull some stupid shit and then wonder why it happened.
