How do I get rid of needles?

After pinning, what do I do with the needles? Do I just trash them or am I supposed to dispose of them in a specific way?

Get a sharps container and drop it off at a hospital or pharmacy. Or you could just put them in a dumpster (although you really shouldn't do this).

My local pharmacy takes used needles and syringes for free. Call around and see what they say. If not, get a sharps container and you'll have to do it that way.

I just put the caps back on, ball them up in other trash and throw them in my trash bin. lol

I used to use empty pop bottles then threw the pop bottles away . Sometimes stuff isn't destroyed in the garbage trucks .
