Pretty much all of your pharma GH will be somatropin as far as I know. I believe the cadaver produced GH was halted in the late '80s.
Notice I'm not saying the Chinese somatropin is pharma.
Most Chinese GH is referred to as generic GH, but the contents may vary greatly.
There's good and bad "generic" GH, so be very thorough in your research.
The fda.gov website gives about he best definition.
Recombinant human growth hormone is a protein that is manufactured to be nearly identical to the main form of the naturally occurring human growth hormone. This hormone can stimulate tissue growth, linear growth (height), and protein, carbohydrate, lipid, and mineral metabolism.
Edit: There's a difference in the number of amino acids. I never can recall the number without, but I believe all pharma is 191aa.
Google will help you out there.
