Lab results advice 8 weeks TRT 100mg / week

Hi,
Need advice on estradiol lab results after 8 weeks of 100mh Cypionate administered intramuscular once a week.

Is it too high where I should be thinking about armidex or should I accept it’s part of the dosing up/down surge. I don’t want to crash my E2.

I’m still waiting for my T and Free T results.

Feeling good other than water retention (probably 5 lb) which I can only control by using HCTZ or a diuretic. No gyno. Maybe puffy nipples when I’m pumped from working out

Results after 48hrs injection:
E2 76 range is 11- 44 (pre trt level was 12)
LSH and FSH <.5

Switch to 2x per week on the injections to minimize peaks and valleys.

You should probably pull blood work at a true trough (right before your next injection). This will give you a "worst case" look at your numbers.

That said, just E2 by itself isn't a good indicator.

You should be pulling the Estradiol Sensitive test. If this is not it, think about it for next time.

All that said, you want to look at two things: where your T is and how you feel.

There is not a magic Test to Estrogen ratio, but generally speaking, they should move in tandem with each other. I would expect your Total and Free T to be over range with estradiol this high. If they are, that's good. If not, then it is maybe something else to look at.

How you feel is the single most important part of the equation. If you feel good with your current dose and numbers, and are not having negative estrogen symptoms, then carry on!

Short version: don't beat down your estrogen yet. Take a look at your other numbers and see how you feel, then make an informed decision.

Total Free: 40.6 range 4.1-15.6
Free %:2.2 range 1.6-2.9

Albumin 4.2 g/dL range 3.5-5.1
SHBG 47 range 11-78

I am actually surprised at these values. My pre trt values (consistent over 3 tests)
Total T :162
Free T: 21
Free T: 1.3%
Bioavailability:62
SHBG: 50

I will post my lowest values after my upcoming test. Any thoughts on these numbers?

Fuck, I remember my first few months of TRT of 100mg once weekly. What a fuckin nightmare going to these dumbass endos and urologists who dont know shit about testosterone therapy. So glad I researched and found a good trt specialist.
