Bloodwork. Finasteride and dht on trt.

Hey guys 33 years old b&c in past but now just do trt at 150mgs. Made a post a few days ago about this and got the results in. Had some shedding so decided to hop on fin a year ago. During that year I took a month off to check my dht OFF fin then hopped back on and been back on it for some months now. I recently got blood work on fin as well. Will post below. First one is off fin second one is on fin. Over the past year on fin I feel like it hasn't helped my hair much as I'm still shedding. I want to drop the fin just because I keep hearing how bad it is for you but from my blood work regardless of hair should I stay on it. My dht seems very high for just being on trt and I know that can lead to heart and prostate issues.

So I'm wondering if I'd be better off staying on fin? I also noticed my free t was way higher on fin than off fin as well. I'm also curious as it seems the fin did it's job in lowering my dht then why did my hair loss not got better or at least slow down? Would love to hear your guy's thoughts on this.

How long were you on finasteride before you had the second blood work pulled? That is still a bit high for being on 1mg finasteride per day, IMO.

Only you can answer the question of staying on or not, but you present some pretty solid evidence. For example, you say that shedding hasn't slowed down after being on a finasteride for a year... that suggests to me that it will not work for your hair loss concerns.

For me, 60 is the sweet spot for my DHT, so if there were no other negatives, I would probably stay on. But you didn't give your PSA, if it is less than 1.0, it might not matter either way.

Note that you should be able to see a 50% reduction in DHT levels microdosing finasteride, search recent threads for specifics. Are you sure your fina is legit?

Thanks man. I was on for 5 months before I got the second bloods pulled. But I missed two doses prior to giving blood so with a short half life prob explains why it's a bit higher.

I just keep hearing how terrible the drug is for you and brain receptors and all that. Only sides I feel is I do feel like I'm like aggressive which sucks. We do plan on trying for our second kid next fall so I have to come off for that anyways. I'm just worried about prostate cancer and such if I come off with dht being that high.
