Fina sludge, coffee filter?

ok so I made 2 40-50ml's of fina. In the 2 jars there was a rather large amount of sludge.

I used the coffee filter and put all the sludge into it to see if any fina was still there.

Is this a good idea and will it work, if so how long would it take?

thats what i do. i let it drip through a funnel for about 10 minutes, then squeeze the filter to get the last bits.

That does have some fina in it BUT that is the stuff that the pellets are held together by. The glue if you will. That's why you are doing this whole process. Yes, after a few good hours of dripping, squeze it but do not dump that SHIT into the vial to inject.
IF you are going to do that why buy the kits. Just use Grain alcahol and do it per syringe and boil in microwave!!

I use to do that and it was ok but it was VERY unsafe, dirty, and not easy to inject. I wasted more in each syring than I would in that sludge.

well I let it sit for acouple hours on the coffee filter. and I ended up with about 7ml's of oil that came through.

I loaded it into the syringe and filtered it into the jar of finished product.
