Testes shrink according to my professor because when you take in a synthetic hormone, the body does what it would do any other time. It will not overdose it's self so it stops producing what ever hormone you are taking and the balls retreat into the body because it isn't needed outside. That goes for all if you take thyroid meds your thyroid will compensate. They usually will only temporarily stop and after a little while start producing it again. Like people who take a lot of pain killers the body stops producing endorphins and it takes at least a couple of weeks after stopping for a body to start again. So it all comes down to do you want to carry a big set but be a wimp or do you want a good body?
Coming from a womans perspective though... I don't care how small the testes are I would rather have a man with decent equipment (that works) and small neighbors than be fooled into thinking theres more there and find out its all balls.
