Unfortunately thats quite true...

Desperate people will do desperate things (and who is more desperate than someone trying to hold on to what little power he had?), and it's Americans and probably Brits who will be the victims of that crap. As long as it stays over there it's one thing, but what concerns me the most is that given time I can see it being exported to the US and UK... the kind of "desperate warfare" those people use is probably quite adaptable to foreign terrorism.
I hate to admit it, but it was bound to happen sooner or later... propaganda and dissention are very powerfull weapons in a war... only a fool would not use it... just look at WW2 where a massive chunk of resources on both sides was churning out propaganda. Such a weapon that brings the war straight to everyone in their homes is extremely dangerous.
