JDM- read my response to your thread in the workout forum. I don't want to repeat myself, but i guess i will anyway... women do NOT get bulky from weight training. This idea is ABSURD and I only wish it were true that women could pack on muscle the way men do. The "celebrity look" your girl is looking for is the look she will get from weight training, including upper body. Look at any gorgeous famous woman...britney spears, madonna, jennifer garner, demi moore...they all have sculpted arms, shoulders, abs and legs. They most definitely work out with weights, not just cardio. They are not "skin and bones" and I don't think too many guys find that look attractive anymore.
