If its an insulin pin then you'll be fine, as you could just say "I'm a diabetic" if someone finds it. Just be careful they don't find the A-Dex...but even if they did you could probably say its insulin too, its unlikely the airport security would know and recognize every brand of insulin.

yea insulin pins are small and well people who are diabetic need them, although
it may be one of these items which is 'banned' and regardless of being diabetic or not, it may not be allowed, but the a-dex should be ok

All ya have to do is claim it Bro. Tell the lady at the desk that you have diabetes and that you have needles and medicine in your bag. She will tell security and they will see it and let it pass. Insulin is not a scheduled drug and can be brought with you anywhere for emergency purposes. Call ahead and ask the airline and they will inform you on what to do. Also, take the label off the l-dex and they won't even ask!!! peaceOriginally Posted by flexshack

I've taken pinz and gear with me on several flights. Never had a problem. I just packed my gear in unmarked 10cc vials, packed the syringes in an "insulin carrying case" and put them all into my CHECKED luggage. No probs.
