    Apple lap top & internet explorer ??? Carlos ?

    Does anyone know ( Carlos ) if you can run internet explorer on an apple notebook ???

    Nope.. Internet Explorer stopped at version 5 and was full of bugs..
    Is there a particular reason you need IE on your mac?

    Yes for a gps tracking device for my car.. And i need it on my lap top cause im going away, and i dont want my gf, driving my car to much, actully i dont want her driving it at all !!!! Any suggestions or advice ??? This is what they sent me.. What browsers does the *******xs site function with ?? Currently the sites with IE 6 & IE 7 as well as aol browsers.... IE for Mac, & firefox are not currently supported !!! WTF am i gonna do ??

    Try Safari and Firefox. There are a lot of sites that claim Windows IE only that work on the Mac. You just have to try it and see. What kind of laptop do you have?

    Its a notebook, if you read post # 4 they explains what works, was tallin to my buddy and he said i can always download IE, and see how it works... Then if it starts f'n with my lap top, to delete it ??? I dont know how safe that is, and i have safari, and they say fire fox is not copatable,,, What to do ???

    I dont mind her useing the car on a nice day, but that car cost a small fortune, and shes gonna load all her slutty girlfriends in it, and drive around the whole time im gone...

    You cannot download IE for the Mac. It's no longer on MS website. Can you try Safari before you leave for your trip?

    Im still learning on this mac, i was so used to my pc ( big difference ) when i open up safari, from the bottom of the page aol opens , is there a way just to open safari ?? even in the upper left hand corner and i go to file, and open new window AOL OPENS UP .... Im a computer idiot !!!!

    Im leaving on the 7th so i got some time to figure it out, the only thing i got going for me is the tracker e-mails me when the car is in motion every 6 min and gives the address..
