What Is Better To Use In A Protein Shake

I USE TWO N LARGE PROTEIN SHAKES A DAY ONE IN THE MORNING. AND ONE RIGHT AFTER A WORKOUT. I USE FAT FREE MILK WITH THEM BUT I KNOW WATER IS BETTER TO USE. I JUST CAN'T DRINK IT THAT WAY. ANYWAY WHAT SHOULD I DO? CAN I STICK W/THE F-FREE MILK OR SHOULD I USE THE WATER?

Depends on how many calories you want. If you need the extra calories, then use the milk(it tastes a little better). If you don't need the extra calories, use the water and hold your nose.

I agree, sucks with water. Milk is the way to go. A good way to do it is this, fill it up with HALF with milk and HALF with water. That way, it still tastes good, and you've used less milk

Milk is fine. It will take a tiny bit longer to digest with milk, but big deal. I LOVE SHAKES WITH WATER. Mmmm....

I like them in water!!! Just don't add too much or it will be nasty. I know my lean body meal replacements say on the directions not to mix them with milk. If you do they taste like sh*t.

    depends

If i'm bulking I use milk and even throw in some peanut butter in the chocolate shakes. If i'm cutting I use water...but very little maybe 4 oz. for 1 shake. It mixes thinner in water but taste a little nastier w/ the l-glutimine!

Personally, I feel a whole lot fuller when I mix my shakes with skim milk rather than water, for me it just kinda depends on how I'm feeling that day....though I dont have a problem with mixing my shakes with water. The skim milk for me makes my shakes taste way more like an actual milkshake which is nice

N-Large...4 scoops at once is a lil too much if you mix it with milk...consider taking 3 scoops with 1% or skim milk with creatine 5g and glutamine 5g for your anabolic post-workout meal
