I just read a post here about AIs claiming that aromasin is the best choice to stop bloating and other estrogen related sides. This is because aromasin, unlike arimidex, doesn't stop the conversion of test to estrogen, instead it makes the estrogen unable to bind. This allows estrogen to remain in you system without the adverse effects while keeping your lipid levels stable.
However, I have been searching medical sites for more clarification and have found conflicting information. These site describe aromasin as an "aromatase inactivator". If the aromatase enzyme was inactive, it wouldn't be able to convert test into estrogen and would therefore work the same way as arimidex and lower the amount of estrogen in your body.
So, my question is, are these websites half-assing there description of how aromatase works, is the person who posted the thread misinformed, or am I just completely misunderstanding this?
