Today at my gym we had a 'Member Apprecation Party' today and had a whole series of events.
Anyways, bench press rolled around and we did it by weight category. I was in the lightweight section (190 and under) and I heard my boss announce that he had the record bench at 275lbs. So I decided to throw myself up in the mix.
We had 3 attempts. I picked up the mic and thanks all my fans for coming out, pointed out two old hags and told them I loved them.
I don't bench much, but I knew I could do more then this chump.
I threw up 185 for 1 warmup. 275 to tie him and finally 335lbs for the win.
That's probably the heaviest I've ever done in a long time. I rarely go above 225 at all IF I decide to bench.
Even though I won, I didn't get a prize 'cause I'm an employee. Garbage.
