Yup, I had that problem with the kexing kits. ****ed up my hand a couple times. The Jino amps are easier to work with.
Here's a trick - use the cap from a bic pen. slip it down over the top of the amp just far enough so you can put pressure on the tip of the amp. put a towel in your hand that holds the amp and push AWAY from you. The top should just snap off.

it wouldn't hurt to score it with a nail file either (sandpaper ones are good)

Why not get BA Water and not have to open any amps, just draw it out of a vile.

lot of them say not to use ba water. unless you know the right ph and get the right ba water for your ****(correct me if I am wrong). I got it from ip's disclamer. I just use a stake knife to score the amps neck then just flick the top off.
some of them come with a little stone in the kit to file or score the tops.
