Powerlifters lift with strength being the primary focus
Bodybuilders lift to attain a certain look.
yup i continued reading further into the threads..
so what are the main compound exercises that powerlifters do?
btw.. i know bodybuilders don't look to be the strongest, but the saying goes that the stronger you get, the more muscular you're going to get.. therefore when i lift, i actually life with strength being primary focus. however i do bicep curls which is definitely not part of powerlifting. i periodize my training alternating between high reps and low reps, but always aiming to use maximum strength. therefore i wonder which category i fall into?
