Law enforcement staged a series of raids that lead to the arrest of several high profile drug dealers and contributors. The ambush was quoted as a "huge success" by the Department of Justice which resulted in 7 deaths and twice as many injuries.
The FBI said 28 kilos (61.6 pounds) of the Steroids, two Ferraris and seven weapons were seized in the raids, part of "Operation Anabolic Bust." Seizure was estimated at roughly 1.4 million dollars in drug and drug related material.
The trafficking organization smuggled drugs from Mexico into San Diego and El Paso, Texas, and shipped them to seven regional distribution centers: Houston, New York City, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland and Nashville, Tennessee.
Officials say seizures took place in Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas.
The arrests included the suspected ring leader of the drug organization, but is exact name is unknown. He has a tattoo on his upper shoulder in the words "aXe". After warrented seizure of his computer the defunct web site anabolicreview.com was found on his computer which police said will lead to several more arrests. Police urge anybody who has any information leading to the arrest or where-abouts of the following people to call their local law enforcement or 911.
