Saw Palmetto Dosage

LIke I said before, it may just be paranoia I feel like I am losing hair after a seeing a couple hairs in class and in the shower fall

What dosage of Saw Palmetto is good to prevent hairloss

(I did search on the board and couldnt find someone who posted a dosage)

You should pay special attention to this:
_ • Standardized extracts, tinctures, and solid formulations of herbal_/ health supplements may provide a more reliable dose of the product.

Make sure it is standardized or you are simply taking the herb crushed up in a capsule with unreliable potencies. Cheap is not better by a long shot.

I am running 640mg of Saw Palmetto Berry extract (4 GNC Standardized Saw Palmetto softgels) - but I have heard many taking up toward a gram. It seems to be like estrogen though - you want to block only the excess production caused by AAS use - but not all of it. Take just enough to eleviate negative symptoms. And use in relation to the amount of androgens you are taking per week.

well Madmax, I am on test prop 100mg eod, what would you think would be a proportianate amount of saw palmetto, I have teh same pills you have

The active agent in Saw Palmetto is Beta Sitosterol which is CLINICLLY proven to help treat and relieve the symptoms of enlarged prostate AND helps stop the conversion of test to DHT (which is the major cause of MBP) and its inherence to various receptors! Do a search on it.

I am confused i read the posted link above. and it says to not take with anabolic steroids or nolvadex. but some of your are wondering how much to take with your propionate. can someone please clarify when and how to take saw palmetto. thanks!!
