Male, 23 yrs old, 5'11", 172 lbs, approx 16-18% bf
I've just started a Deca only cycle but, before you all start to panic, please read the following (I know its long but I was bored) and give me your opinions.
I've tried a few ill-advised cycles in the past including deca (Norma: possibly counterfeit!), test-cypionate (Goldline: definately counterfeit!) and dianabol (real I think???), all without any Post-cycle therapy!!! All of these cycles were based on 400mg deca per week with any other gear added on top of that.
I put on decent gains but, not surprisingly, lost everything when I stopped taking the juice. Worse still, after the last cycle (1 year ago) I suffered from complete loss of sex drive.
However, after doing a lot of research over the last six months, I've decided to give it another go.
I've changed my source to someone who has been involved in competitive bodybuilding for over 20 yrs (instead of getting it off my daft mates!) and, after checking some pictures of Norma deca on other AR posts, I'm as sure as hell that the gear Ive bought off him is genuine. The packaging and everything looks to be spot on and, to be quite honest, looks a lot more convincing than the last 'Norma deca' that I took (which I now suspect was counterfeit).
I'm planning to take only 200mg of the deca per week for 8 weeks, see how that goes, then maybe up the doseage next cycle (depending how this one goes). The main reasons I'm starting on this low doseage are:
a) I obviously don't want the side effects after my previous experiences.
b) My girl doesnt know I'm on the gear, so I don't want to put rediculous amounts of weight on too quickly. Basically, I want to be able to convince her (and my mates) that I put it on with my strict dieting and workout regime![]()
c) My best mate just finished a 400mg per week course of the same deca, from the same bloke and he went from 182 lbs to about 203 lbs in 8 weeks (21 lbs!!!) and everybody knew exactly what he'd been up to, including his girlfriend who wasn't too happy! My girl's not quite as understanding as his and would beat me to a pulp if I blew up in size like he did. I want to put on some decent gains, but again, I'd like to be able to pass it off as possibly being natural.
Also, after all the research, I've realised how important Post-cycle therapy is, so I've bought some Chlomid which I'm also sure is genuine.
I'm planning to start taking the chlomid 3 weeks after my last shot of deca. I'm gonna take 300mg on the first day, 100mg for the next 13 days, then 50mg for the next 14 days.
Does this sound ok for a post-deca chlomid cycle?![]()
I now realise that the most important thing in a cycle is not the gear, the diet or the training, it's the research and planning that you do beforehand.
Please give me any opinions you may have on my cycle plans, especially if I've got something wrong in y planning.
Also, any idea of what type of gains I may experience (including how much size I'll keep) would be greatly appreciated.
If nothing else, let me know of any tried and tested excuses I can use if my girlfriend does find out![]()
