dude, it's amazing... I recommend it to anyone... I have seen people get over closterphobia by learning to scuba dive... weird, I know... but fun as hell.

Been diving for years.......Barrier Reef, Fiji, Mexico, Carribean, Belize, even the Atlantic Ocean, but that sucks cause you can't see anthing. Gonna do Galapagos one day.

I wish I could... but I got an inner ear problem in my left ear...the pressure at 10 feet is unpleasant, at 20 feet it becomes unbearable.
Just diving off the high board at the pool or snorkeling a little too deep can cause some serious pain.
On a related topic I *always* swim with my flippers (or do you call 'em fins now?) onmy darn legs are too freaking heavy and sink like rocks. Not enough blubber in them to float

Man I love scuba diving. I'm AOW certified by PADI. Almost all the diving I've done has been in Thailand. Last time I was there I went diving on a sunken ship, did some deep diving, night diving, all kinds of stuff. Night diving was awesome. One of my dreams is to dive with Great Whites. I've dove with other sharks before, but that would be the ultimate. In fact, if my current job prospect doesn't happen, I'm moving to SE Asia and becoming a dive instructor for a year or so, while I go to school.

i'm padi cert... but haven't been in a few years. used to go down to San Carlos, Mexico a couple times a year.
i'd recommend it to anyone as well...it's a lot of fun, definitely a cool experience.

diving about 5 years now. belize, cozumel, honduras, curacao, west coast CA. been trying to get into freedive spearfishing but i can't hold my breath for shit, so it hasn't been working out so well.

The Great White Eh?!?!!! I'll pass on that one.. maybe in a cage, but that's the extent of it!lol... I have in fact dove with some reef sharks in The Dominican and a few domestics in Mexico... amazing diving... I can't wait to become an instructor, just a lot and a lot of log dives first!

SCUBA diving is SO much fun! I dove in Cozumel once, and WOW it was AMAZING! It's like a completely different world!
