expiry date on steriods?

Hey guys, I just bought some 1-T ethergels by Molecular Nutrition, I was reading the label when I came across an expirty date of 12/05. I then took the bottle back to the place i got them from. I asked to return them and he asked me why and I told him they were expired. He told me there was nothing worry about and that there really isn't a shelf life for this type of product. I've been buying supplements from him for about two years now, and he assured me nothing would happen, he's given great advice to me in the past, but should I take his word on this?

I would demand a refund or hefty discount, That exp is not a huge deal but NEVER let somone tell you that it dosent mean anything.. Exp dates can kill you.. depending on what you are using the chemical make up of certin things change over time. It can weaken or actualy become toxic. In this case there would be nothing wrong with it.. but its the principal.. that shit was expired.. i would want fresh stuff.

Sell it to someone for 100 and buy one that aint expired, but really, return that bullshit.
