    Carbs PWO while on Keto

    Carbs PWO

    I wanted to attempt a Keto diet. If you consume zero carbs for 1 1/2 days then consume an A$$ of carbs PWO...say 3x a week...would this be beneficial?

    Example:

    Sunday: No carbs consumed
    Monday: No carbs consumed
    Tuesday: No carbs consumed up to 3:30pm, then Heavy Carb up PWO
    Wednesday: No carbs consumed
    Thursday: No carbs consumed up to 3:30pm, then Heavy Carb up PWO
    Friday: No carbs consumed
    Saturday: No carbs consumed up to 3:30pm, then Heavy Carb up PWO

    I wouldnt reccomend a keto diet, cause it can make you very lathargic and flat looking. Why dont you just eat some complex carbs for you first couple of meals after morning cardio on an empty stomach? Then you could just eat some good solid protein meals with possibly a little fat for your others. From what Ive read though, some will tell you either do a keto all out or stay out of ketosis and eat your PWO shake as normal. I would recommend the second choice because I feel the PWO with carbs is just to damn important. Whatever you do, make sure to get you some flaxseed oil and aminos to help you get your healthy needed fats. I would take some aminos right before and right after morning cardio to help you from becoming to catobolic. Good luck bud.
