    Pretzels - Bad for clean bulking?

    Let's say I eat about 50g of protein from chicken, 35g of carbs from brown rice and 22g(11 pretzels) of carbs from pretezels in my pro/carb meal while I'm clean bulking.

    Is that really as bad as Maraxus sais?

    Damm mass, all this clean eating has given you th emunchies huh?

    I can't really say why, but I wouldn't really consider pretzels a good or "clean" carb source. They are quite refined I believe.

    i bought me some Honey Braided Pretzel twists today, nearly ate the whole damn bag haha they are good!

    With them being such a small part of your overall meal I would most likely say they are harmless.

    But what do I know????? I'm 4' 6" 330 78% BF

    Giantz I'll have to admit I read that comment just right, and fast enough, to laugh my ass off after seeing it.

    Massacre - go for it. Look for all natural, sugar free, chemical free pretzels and they shouldn't effect you. I will second Giantz comment that if they are that small of a portion a day, no worries if you are bulking.

    My goal is to one day be able to actually walk and not be on AR all day. Until then, I'll be posting!

    I bet as long as you adjust the rest of your diet to take into account the macros of the pretzels, and have it still hit your goal macros...


    It won't matter whatsoever.
