Anybody tried this? makes sense that if its preventing hair loss on top then it could prob make it so your chest hair grows back slower too?

I haven't heard of this before, however it seems possible. The same androgens that shrink scalp follicles trigger growth for body hair. Ketoconazole has been proven to decrease the quantities of DHT in the scalp, so it could be of some use in preventing/slowing the growth of chest hair.

Since high DHT levels are associated with increased growth of body hair, the use of finasteride or dutasteride may help slow the development of body hair, definitely.
