    5 weeks of cutting, do I need to adjust yet?

    I have been cutting for 5 weeks, I have gone from 199lbs to 192lbs. I am real happy so far with the results. My question is that I have been on a strict 1900 calorie diet. Now that was a bit below my maintenance calories when I was 199lbs. Now that I am 192lbs my maintenance cals are lower obviously. I am doing cardio 3 times a week. Should I lower the cals, if so which ones, protein, fat or carbs, or should I just up the cardio to 4-5 times a week and see if I can burn a few more lbs.

    protein-850
    fat-480-all but 30-40 cals are EFA's, i.e. flax-Natt P.B., olives
    carbs-540
    total=1870

    What do you guys think. Lower cals or more cardio.

    bump your cardio 5 days @45 min to see if you drop some fat...

    im 6´2 and cutting on 2400 cals... if i get stuck maybe i reduce cals by 200 but never go lower than 800 from my maintenance(sp?) calories but thats just me it works for me

    I wouldn't drop the cals anymore than what they're at. Up'n the cardio seems like the best idea.

    3 times a week? That it? I would do cardio at least 5 times a week. When I cut I'm going to do it 6 times a week, off day on leg days

    Chest is right. Cardio should be done at least 5 times a week while cutting. I do cardio 7-9 times a week when cutting.

    Im saying you should increase your cardio AND SLIGHTLY increase your cals...i find that when cals are high and cardio is done for the fat loss you spare much more muscle....I dont think a guy who works out should have to go lower than 2000 cals a day unless he is cutting for a show or photoshoot. JMO

    just up your EFA's a tad, and do cardio 6 days a week and take a day off like chest said...
