    liquid protein?

So, I ran out of my ON Whey powder today and headed to a local shop to get some more. I usually buy a jug of 5lbs which usually lasts me awhile. Most of my protein comes from whole foods but, my pre and post workout meals usually contain a bit of whey. Today I saw that there are products that are liquid protein. I don't know how long they have been on the market since I usually just grab a jug of whey powder but, was curious if anyone has tried these new liquid protein products and what thier take is on them? Garbage/not worth it compared to whey powder/etc...The stuff seemed pricey but was still curious. Any input is appreciated.

Seems to be more of a Gimmick than anything else. I highly doubt it's superior to regular protein.

Yes liquid protein is the best.I`m talking about liquid egg whites, its just the shit.Liquid Egg Whites are natures number one source of protein because they provide the only form of protein which is absorbed instantly by your body (i.e. 100% Bio-Available) & it is also 100% natural protein. Other high protein foods like: chicken, fish, beef, and turkey, must first be broken down by your body before the proteins can be truely absorbed. The same holds true for protein powders (whey protein, milk protein etc) and engineered food & drinks. The truth is your body is only consuming about 1/3 of the actual protein of these items - the rest is wasted!

All different proteins have different benefits... to say one source or the other is best is relative to ones use. Anti catabolic properties are found in casein, anabolic properties in whey, improved kidney function- improved cholesterol with soy and the list goes on. In regards to absorption and assimilation there are proteins such as Spirulina protein that is %95 digestible.

To answer the thread... I think that liquid forms of protein are almost the same as your powder, i've seen liquid whey the isopure liquid protein line and others... I just think you are paying extra for the convenience of being able to drink them as opposed to blending. my 2 cents
