    Prop Injection Lump in Glute

Here is another question concerning the dreaded injection lump lol........I've read all the threads I could handle on this, so here is what happened to me. Same sad song so please feel free to : It has been about 4 days now and it seems to be subsiding (at least the pain is). There is some "puffiness" to it when I am relaxed, but there is a definite hard and noticible lump when I flex my glute.......It is also a little red around the area and is warm to the touch.....I am not running a fever or have flu symptoms. So put a bro at ease and tell me what you think it is....going to the doctor right now for this is not good cause they are not civilian type.....so if I have to....what excuse could I use as well. You guys rock.

Well I personally would never use an excuse with a doctor, you always have to be upfront with them so they can give you a proper assessment. But if you are going to lie then say you injected B12 or something. But the lump/soreness from prop is fairly common, always make sure you inect slowly, warm the prop first a little bit even take a hot shower before hand. These will all help. But like I said it is fairly common. I have seen golfball sized lumps before, massaging the site after injected as well should help which i forgot to mention above.

From what you are describing - normal, normal, normal. I have two lumps on my butt now and I am damn proud of it.

Yup, sounds pretty normal especially from prop. Wouldn't worry too much, just make sure to keep an eye on it and watch if it starts spreading.
