assuming its weights carb replenishment is key regardless IMO

you may look to hit the whey and dextrose immediately after training

2:1 ration will suffice and overspill will be minimal if at all evident

an idea of your whole diet, goals and plans would help

Eating every two hours is good. I would also not go to bed right after my PWO shake of dex/whey. Try to stay up for at least another 30min and eat a protein/carb meal before bed. Check the stickys at the top of the forum for guidelines on diet.

I eat every 2 hours cutting or bulking. Check out the bulking sticky. I would have my last meal be ppwo..ppwo is pretty important while bulking

When I'm bulking every 2 just so I can get more meals in one day. When cutting I go 3 just for the fact I don't eat as many meals. The only exception would be PWO-PPWO which is about 45 min when bulking and 1.5 hours when cutting.

Postworkout you should have carbs and protein. Either a high gi carb like dextrose or a medium gi carb like oats. Protein should be whey.

Before bed cram in a meal. Either a pro/fat meal or a pro/carb meal depending on how the meals pre workout looks.
