It's a tiny needle like a 30. You won't feel shit after 1 second. Just think how good it will feel when you have that ingrown removed. ahhhhhh

ood luck man i had it done and I guess they didnt scrap it the bone enough because it came back.

A trick I found now is when it starts to get ingrown and sore dig it out a little and wedge some cotton under the toenail for a few days to a week and itll start growing in the right direction again.

My brother had his removed and he said it hurt like a bitch cause his was grown pretty deep in .He said when the doc pulled it out it looked like long thick toothpick well that explains why ,lol .He said he wasnt able to put pressure on that foot while walkng hurt .Well your's isnt as that big I hope ,good luck

Once a huge door fell on my toe. It was bleeding real bad and it hurt like a motha fuc. But once the doc hold of it, He made a whole and other things to it and I didn't even feel a thing. Good luck though

I use a paper clip or someting like that. Thin with a blunt tip. You should be able to get in behind it and pull it out and cut it. It might hurt a lil but deal with it.

dude, I had one removed, that shit aint no joke, I have had shots everywhere, not to scare you, but the worst shot I have ever had in the big toe, but after that, you dont feel shit!

it happened cause i wrecked my bike in october and broke both big toes. both nails fell off and one is growing back messed up. it doesnt seem like its too deep but it hurts to bump it. i guess if i can handle getting a shot twice a week for ten weeks i can handle getting a shot in the toe.

well the thing is with the local.....if he puts it up too high where ur toe is really sensitive from the infection its gonna be real uncomfortable for a bit....
but i had mine removed, then he burned out the old tissue shit, havent had a problem since!

You can only dig them out to a point. If you let them go to long it's off to the doctor. If you try to use a paper clip or something make sure it's clean or else your just going to get a worse infection.

my feet got bad, i had an ingrown toenail on both sides of both my big toes. i got each one done on a different day. its not all that bad. i actually thought the worst part was when it was numb and just watch for a few seconds. i was afraid the numbing would go away

If the nail is f'd up, ask him if it might be better to just remove the nail permanently. This way you only have to deal with it once. You don't need no stinking toenails anyway.

hahahahah that would look funny. no toe nails. thats like my buddies dad who got all of his exess skin removed and the doctor asked him if he wanted a belly button? hes like im f'n 50 years old why the hell do i need a belly button. now that looks weird. hahahahahaha

If its not too bad, just go to a nail salon, Girlfriend. A good pedicurist can do wonders for your feet. They will not only look nicer, but they will feel teriffic. LOTS of men get pedicures and manicures these days. And regular pedicures will help ensure that an IT doesn't get ingrown again. Many of our nail girls in New Orleans are Vietnamese or Thai, and it is soooooooo so nice to have a petite little bit of oriental fluff pampering your feet, and her tiny little hands rubbing the calluses with pumice stone, pushing back the cuticle, trimming the nails, polishing and buffing... OOOOOh Girl, it is FABULOUS!

Ya, I had both big toenails worked on.
One toe, the operation didn't hurt at all. The other, lordy lordy lordy, it was the most excruciating pain I've ever had. But it's worth it to get the thing fixed . . .
One bit of advice . . . when they offer you a prescription for pain medication, get some strong stuff. You may not need it, or you may need only a little bit, but if you wake up at 3 am and you're in pain pain pain, you'll be glad you've got it.

I got my ingrown removed it was pretty bad but I got through it and so will you
