    pro/fat meals with no fat???

Hi all,I am new here and have been following the cutting sticky for about two weeks.Since I increased my protein the muscle gains are amazing but my fat stores dont seem to be moving or super slow at that.

    Heres my diet....

    5am:
Small activa yogurt and a small coffee with 1/4 cup milk......start workout at 5:45

    6:30am:
1/2 cup Dex and 40 gms whey

    7:30am:
25 gms whey and 3/4 cup oats in water

    11am:
    8oz chicken breast

    3pm:
    50gms whey

    6pm:
8oz fish and a box of green beans

    10pm:
2 scoops whey and 15 flax caps

My problem is I feel like total shit.I feel great at workout and after dex shake and its down hill from there. So today I was at work slaving away and I wondered if my body just couldnt release the fat fast enuff and thats why I would become lethargic. So I went and ate 400 calories of sunflower seeds and a half hr later I felt way better.

Is my body just bad at burning its own fat??Or am I eating to much protein??I doubt its too much carbs or maybe not enuff?!?My love handles wont budge and its killing me.Anyone have any ideas?

So you think its just not enuff carbs?I was thinking not enuff fat.

Thing is my workouts are just fine but during the day i get wiped out. After my 7:30am meal its super low carbs rest of day so you may be right.

Gonna try adding a PPWO meal in.

Stats and macro's might help us to help you out a bit. But I'd definatly say 11a and 3p need some fat in them. And I'd agree that it's a bit much in the shakes department. Also at 6:45 is that cardio and lifting? Just wondering because only 45 minutes if it's both seems quick. If not which one is it then, and what time in the day do you do the other? Hoping that helps a bit, and I'm sure someone more seasoned then I will jump in here to fill in the parts I missed.

My stats are 5ft9in and I weigh 190.This is taken every friday, right before workout. It jumps up to 198 after my cheat day sunday and comes down over the week back to 190.I hold alot of water .

I just went into bathroom and flexed my arm and I have veins and look very full.I decided to not add the extra PPWO meal instead adding 15gms fat to meals 11 and 3 pm.

I like whey shakes because I cant stand eating dry meat.I could easily eat 6 meals a day of BBQ chicken but chicken breast is a no-go.The whey keeps me sane.

At 6:45 I workout with weights 6 days a week.I dont do cardio and heres why.My workouts are split like this:

    upper body front
    upper body back
    legs.

Each workout has a light and heavy day per week.Heavy days its 2 sets for 4 to 6 reps while light days its 3 sets for 12 to 15 reps.Plus my job has me walking, unloading boxes from truck and climbing stairs 8 hours a day.

I am afraid to add carbs as that will alter my weekly weigh in since I hold so much water.

i think it's because you are not having enough carbs bro. i am on week 2 on my cutting and did the same thing getting about 60grams of carbs mostly from post workout. i felt like shit and i was always tired even though i am on eca. so right now i upped my carb to like 130grams and i feel better. all the carbs that you are getting is from dex and oats. why not add some more oats man. also how could whey and water satisfy you? try adding some egg whites. i do turkey omelet. i mix it with turkey bits. for your 3 pm meal drop the whey to like 1 scoop or whatever the serving size of your protein shake and add the egg whites omelet or lean protein. i don't think it matters if you have a lot of shakes but try to consume whole foods along with shakes.

Great ideas and I took em and ran with em.Added an extra carb meal and 15gms of flax or almonds to meals 4 and 5.

I also added a quart of skim milk in place of the whey and oats at 7:30am.

    I know..I know..more liquids

Then I eat the 11am 8oz chicken with 8oz sweet potato.

Thing is that I work like a racehorse never stopping from 7am till 11am.That plus I have absolutley no hunger at 7:30am yet I can down a quart of splenda sweetened chocolate or vanilla milk with a smile!!

I probably should suffer and just eat more solid food but Whey and milk seems to fit my work atmosphere.

Here, here to a pure liquid diet

Was thinking the same thing today on how it would be easier to eat 4oz chicken and supplement with whey.

I agree with narkissos in that its best to use a protein blend and that what I use.ON pro complex or nitrean.Sometimes ill buy a met-rx shake which is high in casienates.
