Is it ok to inject in the Rectus femoris (Middle upper quad)?
Most of the theards I see say to inject in the Vastus lateralis (outer quad).

You can inject in any muscle. I have stated this many times on the board. You can inject in your rectus femoris, your vastus intermedius, your vastus lateralis or your lastus medialis. It DOES NOT matter at all. The only thing to remember is some muscles are smaller and cannot hold as much compound and sometimes hurt more.
I am shooting every day in the Vastus lateralis but I need more spots. I have been shooting 1.5cc a day. Would this be to much for the Rectus femoris?
I am doing 75mg/prop and 50mg/fina in each shot. Would this be to much or to strong for my shoulder?
I have only done sus in my shoulder.
It is ok... I came accross it as one of the 'accepted' sites in my nursing handbook.Originally Posted by trin2getswole

It all depends how large your rectus femoris is, its not reallya BIG muscle so I wouldnt go over 1.5cc to start. But all you can do is go for it an try it. I think 1.5 should be ok. Why no try other muscles like delts, glutes, pecs or bi's or something man?
No such thing as too strong. Like I said it is not really possible for me to tell how much you can inject in each site, thats up for you to figure out. But I will say if you are a beginner (which you appear to be) I wouldnt be going over 2cc in any muscle group yet.Originally Posted by trin2getswole
