Anybody living with long term side affects? Or experience any? If so what are they? how many cycles did you do and did you do proper PCT?

Well I'm currently 24..but I did do a test prop/dbol cycle for 8 weeks when I was 18. I cant tell bout the sides now, I asusme I fully recoverd because I never had erections problems post cycle and I had a blood test about 8 months later and test levels were normal, but what I can tell is at the time I was 5'11 and currently I'm 6'1. So much for stunting growth.
That is exactly the cycle I want to run. How did it work out for you? And why did you have blood work done? Just to make sure you were back to normal?
Even if you do not experience any sides at a young age using gear, you want to wait as long as possible so you can hit your natural max potential. In that process you learn how to eat and diet properly and how to workout correctly. Its just the smart thing to do for multiple reasons. be patient and wait i say 24 is ok, but that just me...as long as your diet is in check and you have been living a healthy lifestyle and hitting it hard for a while i think your gtg at the age of 24+
ive been in the gym since i was 14 i did my first aas at 20 and every year or other year after till now, im 29... its all about having a clean diet and keep hitting the gym hard. ive had no problems when i did it in my early 20's did not even have gyno once no signs of it. But now i recently have to keep letro on hand since that is not the case anymore. So you need to get at least have a few years of hard working out and clean dieting. research!! very important! the earlier you start the gym at a young age the better u can sculpt the foundation,..... ITS ALL ABOUT HAVING A SOILD FOUNDATION.
My first cycle I was 21.... and I tried to commit suicide cuz I didnt do PCT and depression kicked in hardcore
Second cycle was at 23.... and I couldnt get an erection for a month due to running Deca with no caber or prolaction control.
The ex fiance didnt like that. Hence... "ex fiance" lol
Steroids are serious.... with serious sides and long term affects.
My 1-st was at 19. Only dbol for 4 weeks. Maybe it will sound stupid for you, but the overall result was good - kept about 40-50 % of gains (suppose i havent shut my hpta serious). Didnt had any erectile probs. Offcourse i wouldnt recommend such cycle now.
Real problem was my 3-rd cycle when i included deca with no test - no libido, my gf left me cause of this + plus great depresion - suicidal thoughts.
a week in on my first cycle of, d-bol, test-e, and possibly anavar
so far so good but who can tell at such an earl stage
I started cycling at I think 23 maybe just under. Im not sure whether it was from the gear or not however shortly after I developed skin conditions. One is a redding of the face and flaking. The second is dandruff on steroids. Both have gone away with constant topical ointments from my Derm. (If you see a doctor of any background you need to inform them on your use of AAS, this makes a difference on what to prescribe without harm.)
i did two cycles when i was 19 y.o. and now my natural testy levels are really low... but i wouldn't necessarily say i am suffering do to it.. but i do wish i had just waited a few years, but kids are impatient and so was i when i was one
Acne, scars and a small case of gyno.
good stories guys and a lot of good info... keep em coming!
not trying to enforce younger use in any way but it seems that most of the people that had sides the sides were due to not running their cycle properly
im sure there are cases of people doing everything right and still having problems but it seems to me when your talking abotu sides or problems with cycling that it mainly comes down to how well you run your cycle would this be a correct statement?
i man i think that age has significance i dont believe it would ever be smart for any teen to use steroids and that issues can surely come from that but once your in your 20's sometimes i get the feeling that for most people it comes down to how well your run your cycle at that point
^^^I agree bbh90. That is what I am starting to believe. Steroids are no joke and even with proper cycling and a good PCT things can still happen. But I think that steroids are as safe as Tylenol if used properly and with aggressive PCT.
uneducated cycle at age 20, NO PCT...like i said....UNEDUCATED.....went on trt at 37 but dont know how long i could have been low...i suspect for a while if i ever had decent levels to begin
Well, I did two PH cycles when I was 15. Never had ANY sides at all only gains.
And to be honest, I was very ignorant at that age so even though I knew it was a bad idea I said f*ck it. To this day, I don't regret it. I got blood work done (kinda tricked my parents) and my testosterone levels actually came back high once haha. Anyway with that said, my "foundation" came from steroids and I realize that this goes against what alot of you guys say but really I didn't diet at all until I saw gains quick. Then I got serious, started dieting, reading book after book about building muscle, and going to the gym 6 days a week. My gains from there have been immense.
To get to the point, nothing negative (to my knowledge) came out of the cycle. Probably because I had a proper pct set up and I double checked myself with blood work. Anyway, it CAN BE DONE.

I have never taken AAS before but will be soon.. Only problems I have heard of are gyno, acne and erectile dysfunction with proper PCT you should be able to avoid low test and all that. I am really concerned about the erectile dysfunction tho..
erectile dysfunction is caused by less than normal amounts of blood going to the penis when a man is aurosed. Testosterone has the abililty to directly affect your libido. Low test DOES NOT EQUAL ed. Low libido equals ed.
Don't get me wrong though, if you have VERY LOW testosterone levels (from a compound like deca or npp) then don't be surprised if you get ed. Which is why you run testosterone to prevent that.
interesting so then i mean i know that too low to test can cause ED as well too low of test can cause low libido but that being said what if you have fine test levels but you have low libido and ED? I personally have never heard of a case like that so i may be bringing something up that doesnt happen but what if that does happen? then what would be the reasoning behind ED or low libido?
Exactly.
Sorry but if you have normal testosterone levels than I don't know what to tell you other than blood doesn't flow to your dick like it should (no really).
Pre-existing condition I suppose. As far as the medical community and I know, steroids do not restrict blood flow to your penis...
so far luckily no problems for me... regular bloodwork, good pct, hcg/AI on cycle, acne/bp/cholestrol meds.
not worth it though imo, too addictive especially at a young age.
started at 24 and haven't come off since. Cruising is the way to go for me...low natural test
but no problems so far, but then again it's still kind of early so I will need more bloodwork to give a better response
